More and more people are concerned about the protection and care of the environment. By choosing to stay at the Caravel Hotel you are sure many measures have been taken to ensure your stay in great comfort while respecting the rules of environmental protection.

Different criteria have been established in our Green Plan in order to save water and electricity, using eco-friendly detergents, recycling and separating waste, motivating the staff towards a greater environmental awareness. The Plan no-smoking bedrooms as well as the provision of organic and low-fat food in the restaurant. Although not compulsory, measures include composting green waste and restricting the use of pesticides outdoors.

Saving Energy:
All bedrooms have a key to turn off all the electrical equipment when the room is empty. More than 50% of our light bulbs are Class A, computers and printers turn off after one hour of non-use. In all bedrooms there is a sign with instructions regarding green practices for towels.

Food and drinks:
During breakfast, for several years now, we serve jams, honey and yoghurt in porcelain containers and no longer in single-dose plastic packages. The hotel does not use plastic dishes and glasses, except for those used in the pool area.

Indoor Environment:
All bedrooms are no-smoking and all the new bedrooms (more than 80%), renovated in the last 3 years, have energy-efficient doors and windows. In addition to that, there are panels to reduce temperature fluctuations between our rooms.
